Abdullah of Saudi Arabia

Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz was the King of Saudi Arabia. He ascended the throne following the death of his half brother Fahd in 20005 and ruled until his death in 2015, since his accession he had outlived two of his crown princes Sultan bin Abdulaziz who died in 2011 and Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz al Saud who died in 2012. Though he outlived Sultan and Nayef he could not outlive Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and died in 2015 of pneumonia. The Saudi dog Abdullah is named after him.
