Mashiur is an Animalian politician and former general currently serving under the Animalian Patriotic Front.

He is an anthropomorphic Vikhan Sheepdog and like a lot of the Indian and Pakistani wears traditional Islamic clothing, though in his case Mashiur's clothing changes little. In his military days he wears a white shirt, grey trousers and a dark green military style jacket usually with a head robe. In his government days though Mashiur is much more immaculate as he wears white trousers with a long grey jacket. As well as his native Bengali he is also fluent in English.

Mashiur is shown to be a good leader but he is very easily frustrated and can come off as being rather arrogant. His frustration also lands him in a fight with a Lao jackal by the name of Choummaly which Rashida breaks up and ultimately Saloth settles the argument with the Asian jackals which consists of four Lao jackals Kaysone, Nouhak, Khamtai and Choummaly, two South Korean jackals Syngman and Park and plenty of Vietnamese jackals who are called Ngo, Duong, Nguyen and plenty more jackals.

He respects females as much as Babrak, Hafizullah or any other member of the Animalian Patriotic Front and at one point says "Those who respect no women deserve no respect. At all.". Much like most of the generals in the Fox Junta Mashiur considers instantly killing Siad but lets Olivia and Rachel live, though his plan to have Siad instantly executed fails the defense at his trial is dissolved and eventually the lion is executed.

Despite his arrogance and bad temper Mashiur is shown to be friendly with other members of the Animalian Patriotic Front as well as the National Protection Process and the Fox Junta. He is also shown to be rather good with young Junta children.
