Vitani is the daughter of Zira and the tertiary antagonist of The Lion King II.
Vitani bears a strong resemblance to her mother, but she is differentiated by a tuft of hair on her head. As an adult, her ears are striped with black. However, this feature was not present as a cub, and appeared intermittently after it was introduced. Vitani has blue eyes, and like the rest of the Outsiders, her front claws are constantly unsheathed.
In her first appearance she is a normal lioness but in her return in the Anthro Saga her claws are drawn back like her mother and she has a more realistic anotomy like other anthro characters. In her anthro form she wears a white blouse, a dark green jacket, a brown belt across her waist and a dark green skirt but she still goes barefoot.
The Anthro Saga:
In the Anthro Saga Vitani is a Tyrannian soldier involved with the Animalian Junta. In the anthro world she has a helping hand in the coup that overthrows Mufasa and during the Junta years whilst her mother is stationed at the Women's Prison Vitani is staged at Trebdanek concentration camp where she also develops a relationship with another guard Siad who is just as cruel as she is and she later becomes his girlfriend until he is captured and executed by the Junta's enemies. After hearing of his death she is also seen to be very passive and shows little care for him. During the coup Vitani also does not defend him.
For the six years Vitani is at Trebdanek she oversees and participates in roll calls and beatings and is also said to enjoy children being selected for death. After the dictatorship topples Vitani tries to flee with Mirage but is ultimately found and arrested by the Animalian Patriotic Front. She is later tried and sentenced to 20 years in prison. After serving her sentence she is pardoned by Hunter and today she resides in Animalia.
